BUT UH, I don't think there are many updated thoughts with Tavros and Sakura! He still enjoys her, and I think that recently it's been getting even better since the Cry Wolf game? He gained a ton of Turqdere then and his opinion of Turq in general is like +1000 and that includes everyone on the team. I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S IT, we need to thread again soon. '-'b

Hmm, well-- there is a general blanket feeling of "they all kind of suck." for the most part There are a lot of bitter and upset feelings that he's not dealing with properly because he doesn't have his coping mechanisms due to memory loss. Now, if he were from canon, the bitter feelings wouldn't be quite as apparent because jesus, troll culture sucks. But! He doesn't have that because he doesn't have memories, so that kind of fuels the feelings he has.

Objectively, he does know that Celeste was a logical choice. There were more of them, they didn't have morals, it was probably better to kill them off instead of letting them live. He completely understands the logic. However, subjectively, he's just. No, dying sucks, I don't care if it was better to kill us off or if we had morals because it sucks. And there were a few people that tried to apologize after and he's-- he doesn't want apologies? All it does is make him a little more bitter and sometimes it comes off as "I'm sorry, but this was a necessary thing" and he really dislikes that. His opinion of his own team went up while everyone else went down, basically.

As for how he acts towards the other teams it's like... okay, I'll be friendly and try to work with you, but he's not willing to let himself get close at the moment because that death. So a lot of the relationships he has outside of the team are going to be mostly surface until someone really manages to dig their claws in... which could totally happen with Saffron because Saffron has both Jade Harley and Dave Strider and those two kids are the ones Tavros talks to most in canon. It could also possibly happen with Lilac because he does like Lilac from the people he's talked to even if he's not willing to be RIDICULOUSLY CLOSE.

I DON'T HAVE SPECIFICS FOR ALL OF THE TEAMS because he doesn't talk to all of them, but for the most part, but there are a few teams that stick out.

Teal has an instance of someone saying "I'm sorry but it was necessary", but it's balanced out by the team being moe so he can't be completely upset at them even if there is a lot of bitter feelings. Canary probably suffers the most, because Shark talked to them and they still died and he has mostly only heard Shark's side of the story when it comes to Canary. Sage is... doing okay, because he talked to Apple like immediately after he revived and she was there, so bonus!! Saffron is okay because Watson was a pretty cool dude in the contest... Shell is okay, too, for the most part.

Also I am sorry that Jackal leaked some bitterness all over Bella, he keeps leaking it all over the place whenever the conversation goes to people being hurt/potentially dying.

What are Bella's thoughts on the whole Dragon game? I don't remember if she was there, but. '^' What does she think of it, if she has any really specific thoughts on it?

Well you know what, I'm giving you Erika and Tsubomi anyway.

I'll get to Rosalie and Paru in a sec, I just wanted to do this first.

OKAY, Rosalie on Paru.

Girlfriendddd. ♥ She loves Paru a lot and she can tell there are some issues there, but she hasn't prodded at them just yet. 8|a I don't think she knows any of Paru's backstory at all, but if she did, it would be like. APPLY GRYFFINDOR TO PARU which means she'd get just as much love - probably moreso - and Rosalie would kick anyone in the face for Paru. Although she would kick anyone in the face for Paru now so that last thing really isn't too much of a change. :|a

Simon kind of complicates things but Rosalie doesn't even know how to handle Simon because Simon, while her best friend, is a ridiculously hard to understand dude. Even if he sends heart tarot cards to her because what does that mean even if it should be obvious.

But for the most part Rosalie loves Paru and thinks she's adorable and will apply-love-to-Paru for a good long time.

REVERSE?

WELL OKAY!!

First, some Before-the-Dragon-Game. Before the Dragon game, he was more likely to try to chill out with some of the other teams. :'D He wasn't the teamiest of teammates initially because how do I handle March and Olivier. BUT THEN THE DRAGON GAME HAPPENED and Celeste started to like. Stockholm themselves and be paranoid and twitchy. The game really helped with team bonding because it really drove home the fact that, hey, when it comes to these games, the only people you can actually trust are your team. And so, he's much closer to his team now than he was before. Or, at least, he's trying harder becasue beforehand March was the one he had the most problems with and now he's... trying to have a decent relationship with him even if he's still upset over the moral issues. Celeste is a good team and he likes them. '-' NOW FOR INDIVIDUALS. . .

March is kind of hilarious because they started off on a pretty bad foot for Tavros and it only got worse as time went on. Until it got better! And it's still kind of a process and while Tavros is still really frustrated with March there is some effort going into it.

Shark is probably the one, aside from Dory, that Tavros likes the most on the team. He talks to him a lot, is able to joke and relax around him, and while Shark is an asshole, he was still an asshole that was easier to deal with March.

Dory is the Team Moe and while she was gone for awhile, Tavros is kind of glad that she missed that first week or so because wow that week sucked. She is adorable and Tavros is glad that she is on the team because she's kind of a stabilizer and can kind of at least balance out March.

Heath was a cool bro that understood Tavros and his feelings on dying and reviving and the whole moral thing. If they had more time I think they could have been better bros! Also we never gave him an animal name, everyone needs to be required to have an animal name on Celeste. :U Even if they just went skill loss. HEATH YOU COMBOBREAKER.

Bear is a scary lady and was one of his least favorite teammates before she left, but he still had an easier time talking her than he had with March. They weren't particulary close or anything, but he could handle her.

Lark is a nice guy so far even if they've only just met. :|a He seems easy enough to talk to and he doesn't seem too mean or anything!! And maybe there are some secret hopes for balancing out March a little more because it's kind of a balancing act for Celeste.

That Guy We Haven't Named Yet / Sword Boy is a nice guy too, he seems pretty easy to talk to! And that is good. And maybe he'll also help balance out the team a little.

REVERSE ME ON YOUR CELESTE FEELS IN GENERAL since I know Lark is still pretty new and you don't have Heath anymore.

I really wish I had clicked better with Heath, he was wonderful on Celeste, ANYWAY HEATH FIRST

general Celeste feels areee at first they were mostly obligation? Not especially attached except in that he realized they were meant to work as a unit and tried to behave accordingly. and then betting game and he just. fucked off because morals gone->obligation gone, plus actively disliking March and not being close enough to anyone else on the team save Jackal to balance that out at all. and then dragon game made things better and also reminded him that the obligation thing doesn't have to be morals-based at all. the dragon game... also managed to establish that he felt he really could trust all of Celeste, yes even March, LIKE IT OBVIOUSLY ALSO ESTABLISHED THAT HE CAN'T TRUST OTHER TEAMS... but that he CAN trust his OWN team was much more meaningful I think. but in any case most of his feels are actually more in regards to individuals, since he didn't really solidify into a team mindset until the dragon game

Dormouse is a sweetie and he liked her! though they weren't especially close because hiatus+me failing, she's definitely the one whose protection he'd prioritize first on the team. he's pretty glad she wasn't at those games either '-'aaaaaaaa

Shark is, hmm, someone who struck Heath as rude and a little baffling at first, and he was pretty neutral on him for the most part until the dragon game, but then he was really active and trying to help out a lot and Heath gained some respect for him and a willingness to listen to him and take orders from him actually (THIS IS A REALLY BAD IDEA??? HEATH??????)

Bear is someone Heath doesn't really know how to feel about or act around because he was instinctively inclined to respect her and follow her because she comes across as very strong and confident... and then that she spent the betting game listening to March kind of crushed that and Heath wasn't sure... how to feel... so he just went kind of forcibly neutral in terms of behavior. he was more upset at March anyway!!!

Jackal was Heath's favorite hands down, they got along and they got not wanting to hurt people and there was just... a lot of empathy! THEY DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER BROS WITH MORE TIME '^' an easy second on the protection priority list, especially since he seems to be younger than most of the rest of the team, but the empathy thing was definitely the biggest thing.

March is definitely the one Heath had the most feelings on and no one was surprised!!! EVEN IN THE BEGINNING Heath didn't like him much, he was irritating and insulting and said weird things and :TTT BUT THEN THE BETTING GAME. WAS LIKE. HOLY SHIT STOP. NO? WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT? and it was just NOPE NOPE NOPE Heath did NOT want to deal with being around that kind of person, he felt used and disregarded and the worst part was that he felt he'd been turned into a scapegoat again! because March's ideas were being viewed as TEAM ideas and that whole game was just >inwardly freak the fuck out. ... and then the dragon game happened and Heath found out March has the same wish as Dory, which--even though he doesn't know what that is, it made his faith shoot up anyway tbh??? BECAUSE BEFORE THEN IT COULD HAVE BEEN A WISH LIKE "I WISH EVERYONE I DIDN'T LIKE WOULD JUST BE DEAD" OR "I WISH I WAS THE RICHEST PERSON ON EARTH" OR. but whatever he wanted, it was something he and Dory both wanted, and... m...more faith in Dory than that. so that along with seeing him be really freaked about dying made Heath go o...oh you are kind of. sad? I will try to. level with you. it helps that March has never ever actually suggested or been willing to really honestly throw anyone on Celeste under a bus, which Heath. noticed! mostly because people kept trying to throw MARCH under the bus and he was half-expecting him to retaliate for a while so it stood out when he didn't. HE'S STILL IRRITATING, THOUGH, why won't you trust me more I'm trying to help you you ass!!! /STOCKHOLM STOCKHOLM

LARK'S Celeste feelings so far aren't so much feelings as "oh okay so these are the people I should cheer for?" legit that's it. not even like a deeper meaning to that. I WILL ROOT FOR THESE PEOPLE FOR WINNING. in fact all of these are more thoughts than feelings. feelings aren't much in play, I can't even say "yet" because lol Rolan and feelings but eventually maybe more feelings!!!

Unnamed Magic Blort is the one he would most readily rely on just because gosh nearly everyone else is sure lacking in the magic area :|aaa (EXCEPT MAYBE SHARK? MUST REMEMBER TO ASK ABOUT THIS) anyway the point is MEANWHILE THIS ONE IS STRONG

Cat is a pretty cool guy so far! He seems to be settling into Ruby well and Tavros is perfectly okay with dumping all kinds of dere on him because Cat is Ruby and therefore gets all kinds of automatic dere. So, first impressions are pretty positive and Tavros wants it to keep being positive!! LET'S BE AWESOME TEAMMATES CAT.

haha so I was thinking of canon-updating to the whole 'horribly murdered' thing...

So Paru has major issues. She is trying to overcome them but it's not really going well, at least in part thanks to TRAPPED IN A FUCKING CRAZY MAGIC LAND. And she does really love Rosalie a lot, but she is worried that if Rosalie knew about her backstory, it would just be all sorts of sad and terrible and Rosalie wouldn't want to be around her anymore and D: D: D:. So she's trying to avoid letting on that anything is weird and wrong and she's. She's kind of a hilariously bad liar when people she deres at are around. OOPS. Not to mention she also gets all sorts of failure at everything when she's dereing so. CLEARLY THEY SHOULD TALK and paru can just shove her foot down her throat even more.

Simon is weird though because on one hand Paru really doesn't like him because he kind of freaked her the fuck out that one time. But at the same time he's actually from Rosalie's world and he actually likes her and Paru sort of interrupted their thing so she feels guilty there. So she has no idea what to do with that. (Also wants to braid his hair but I think that's just a sort of default reaction to him from anyone.)

Mostly Paru is just all sorts of terrible at life and loev Rosalie long time and wants to just cuddle and watch movies forever.

So how are your Tavroses all different from each other?

OH BOY how they are all different from each other.

Aather: This Tavros is super squishy. :|a He had a bad start, but ultimately, he's much more healthy in terms of how he thinks because he had teammates kind of beat it into him that he is just as important as everyone else!! Also, by bad start, I mean that Ruby was a pretty turbulent team when he arrived sooooo he kind of just slid into the background. Or tried to, at least, but C.C. didn't really let him. THE BIG TURNING POINT FOR THIS, although things were starting to happen as the team pulled themselves back together from the turbulent period, was when they had a TPK during a very bad game. He became very codependent on his team after this because at this point in time they had lost two very long-time members of Ruby and got two brand new ones in the process. After that, and after he recovered from his first death of being crushed to death in a TPK, he really began his development trip. :'D So yeah, he's codependent on his team, sure, but he's actually surprisingly healthy when you compare him to canon. Also he is in the process of becoming a healbot type because one of his teammates, Yukio, was a doctor and a huge influence on punting him down that path.

Sabraather: IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This version of Tavros came from Aather. Initially, Sabraather was supposed to be like, OKAY WE'RE TAKING SABRANS AND AATHERITES AND THROWING THEM TOGETHER to see what explodes in a trauma game. He was put on Scorpio, which is hilarious and I am sure you know why. He was sorted onto a team with two Orions and one Apus from Sabra, someone direct from his own homeworld who I will be called Sparklepire Moebutt, and Enma from Citrine. The game they were involved in was called Dangerbear and it was a cannibalism game and Tavros was one of the monsters that had to be a cannibal and it was hell. Enma and Tavros and Sparklepire Moebutt all snapped to the Sabran way of thinking really quickly, and I think it helped that they were put with like. The perfect Sabrans for the job. They learned quickly that they couldn't trust anyone because they realized super quickly that everyone had alliances and no one on the team was particulary popular with other teams!! And okay, they could totally deal, but then Sparklebutt Moepire got eaten when Scorpio tried to rebuild themselves from the first round (that ended terribly) and Apple kept trying to say HEY EVERYTHING IS OKAY!! While her team picked off Scorpio. After that, they became really yan for each other and more likely to stab people. Like Enma. Enma was a stabber and had to be talked down from it. Finally in the last round they all decided to make people choke and covered themselves in poison berry paint and went all Lord of the Flies on everyone in the last round. . . . Then a total blackout proceeded to happen minus the last three members alive of Scorpio and Tavros was one of them so now he's just like. GOD YOU GUYS THAT WAS KIND OF DUMB. :( And he still doesn't trust anyone aside from Scorpio in Sabraather.

Decollage: IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This version of Tavros comes from Aather/Sabraather because his desire is to get Scorpio the fuck out of that murdercave. He has been wiped of all of those terrible Sabraather memories and I have so many signeg memories because of this and I haven't even stopped being lazy and added my Aather memories in yet. He is very twitchy and paranoid here and doesn't really trust and doesn't have the desire to reeeeally form deep friendships at the moment because death happened and he is not coping well because all of his coping mechanisms and his ability to deal thanks to troll society left when he lost his memories. He's surface friendly, but still pretty bitter and upset and sometimes he leaks it all over people when the Dragon game comes up.

Floating World: Tavros here is canon Tavros and there is not a lot to say here.

SO YEAH there is my steady process of terrorizing my own character.

Rose is his moirail and he is totally in diamonds for her. They aren't the most moirail-y of moirails but it... kind of works!? For two dumb teenagers that are like idkmybffromance a lot of the time. It is a pretty steady relationship though and Rose is always gonna be one of his closest friends in Aather. I don't foresee this changing anytime soon. :|a

Regina iiiis... hmm, there's not a lot to say, but Tavros does think that she's kind of interesting? She isn't outright mean and she's just really curious and that's not really bad? IT'S JUST WEIRD.

HIS THING. :E HAS BEEN MENTIONED BEFORE, so I'll go explain that properly.

On the team the person he is closest to being on the same wavelength is March. But Jackal is the person he's. . . ah, I don't want to say connected to. Because even with no memories, his functioning is kind of fucked, now.

But he's told him the most, because he is aware something is up with himself, and he obviously isn't going to tell someone that would use it against him! So Jackal knows that his body is wrong and that he has human memories, and can take his teasing and ribbing. And in return, Shark has gotten to hear Jackal's memory! He's kind of solidly mentally put him in the category of someone that is. His possession. Like, his teasing/mocking/joking casual dynamic that he has with Mint is similar, but Mint is on a different team and when he tells her things he's aware he has to put things a certain way. While for Tavros, he doesn't actually think he has to treat him well. HE WILL, because why would you like scribble all over your own desk? But if Jackal hypothetically were to get really mad and leave Celeste, you can bet Shark would not actually comprehend his choice or allow it to happen. It also means that he'd be less than pleased at other teams screwing with him! But there is that double-edge.

But as long as we're talking surface level, they talk and Jackal doesn't mind Shark being an asshole, he enjoys his company. Shark himself has probably not really realised that that is how it is working for him! We'll see if anything really brings that up or if continues to just be WEIRD JERK AND GOOD GUY FRIENDSHIP.

Let's see, aside from that. . . A lot of his attacking March in conversation with Jackal is for Jackal's benefit. Since! Shark does agree with March's priorities. But Shark is skilled in the ability: SELF-DELUSION. as long as the consequences of having those priorities don't hit him, Shark is able to go THE PROBLEM IS THE WAY MARCH ACTS ON THOSE rather than oh right that is going to slam into me too the second we go into a game where that comes up. He'd actually be pretty surprised if Jackal got pissed at him for doing a similar thing to what March did. :D;;;

There are actually not a lot of specific team feelings in Aather due to the teams not being quite as teamy as like, Sabra, or even Decollage. He kind of blanket dislikes Iolite though because he had a really bad experience with Iolite because of Vincent. He likes Sapphire and Turq and Amethyst and Peridot the most, though.

Man I am really bad at questions!! What do you hope for Lark in Decollage?

WELL. the thing is that while Rolan is still acting for Phantom's sake, which raises his confidence/comfort levels like +500, he isn't actually. being told what to do/how to do it by Phantom! in canon he has no ability to think for himself, so in decollage, either he has to just follow orders indiscriminately which is what he is currently defaulting to from the amnesia, or he has to actually build some semblance of an ability to act independently, most likely one formed by observation and mimicry of those around him (both in deco and in his memories)

as I'm sure I probably don't need to clarify the idea of Rolan acting on his own is simultaneously laughable and horrifying and is about as likely to end in shankings as blindly following orders from Celeste/portraits would be

so in short I am actually just here to make him more obviously crazy and enjoy myself along the way. having someone who will go along with the portraits' rules and expectations without question or hesitation is a nice bonus!
