THIS IS MOSTLY BECAUSE there is a lot he will learn about Troll life here! He will definitely share this one with two other people, so. It would just be easier to have this typed out since there is a lot of info that comes with knowing troll society.
» The memory is basically... Tavros hatches, he goes through his cave trials and SOMEHOW MANAGES TO LIVE? Like how the fuck did you manage you live through that, Tavros?? And then he gets his lusus and names himself Tavros Nitram. From there, he builds a relatively small house with the use of carpenter drones left by the adults and develops a love of nerdy gamer stuff like Fiduspawn cardgames and FLARP and fairies and stuff. He uses technology to communicate because he built his hive outside of a city and lives in isolation for the most part! He talks to at least eleven other trolls on a constant basis. It's generally pretty boring but it covers a lot of time and a lot of witnessed death and injuries of trolls not related to him!
Life sucks and he generally does not have the best of the best of anything because he's obviously pretty low on the blood caste system.
The memory cuts off before the cliff incident happens, so everything after the cliff incident on is not a thing here.
He has, in fact, hurt others to protect himself and disliked doing it a ton. He has not killed, however! THERE IS NO DEATH ONLY INJURY (and the injuries weren't necessarily bad but they were enough to protect himself).
» TROLLS ARE VIOLENT, like what the hell trolls. Life is very Kill or Be Killed and not actually too far off from Decollage aside from the fact that everything is individual and not team-based and there is no need to win memories or skills! YOUR PRIZE FOR LIVING IS LIVING.
» Death is highly likely if you are paralyzed, etc. The memory cuts off before the cliff incident, but Jackal knows he was paralyzed so that's a thing. He will know that the chances of him dying by the time he got to be an adult were really high!
» Trolls do not have a typical 'family' or whatever. They have a lusus, and Tavros has one that's a bullfairy! It was relatively easy to take care of his lusus compared to some of the high maintenance ones his friends had. Lots of gathering, hunting wasn't necessarily a thing because his lusus was a tiny bullfairy.

The population goes from MAJORITY → MINORITY as it goes up through the colors. Red and brown are basically, "hey you guys are rust bloods and totally expendable because who gives a shit" while purple and tyrian are the SEADWELLER levels and they're also royalty.
Lifespan is low and goes to high as it goes through the caste and Tavros knows it too.
Basically, shit sucks if you're a brown blood. You are part of the PEASANTS and you know it.
» FLARP!! is a thing, which is basically just playing EXTREME LIVE ACTION ROLEPLAYING WITH A CHANCE FOR DEATH. His partner was Aradia, a girl with ram horns and red blood that played like he did—for fun. The team he played against most had Vriska with cerulean blood (wow she sure seems like a lot of people on Celeste doesn't she???) and Terezi who has teal blood. It was generally pretty friendly! Except for when Vriska bullied him and made his life miserable but he put up with it with a smile even if it made him miserable and tried to let it roll off of him.
» Getting his name from his lusus, which is basically just the first sounds he heard from his tiny bullfairy! THEY SOUNDED LIKE TAVROS NITRAM SO HE BECAME TAVROS NITRAM. Legit way of doing things okay.
» There are lots of weird terms, things like "collapsing and expanding bladder based aquatic vascular system" are a low caste thing but it means "heart" if you're from a higher caste, etc.
» TROLL ROMANCE, YOU CAN'T MAKE ME TYPE THIS OUT OTHERWISE THIS WILL GET EVEN LONGER. 8(
» There are no adults on the planet. It is a planet entirely made of children because the adults are off conquering the galaxy!
» THE WIKI PUTS IT GREAT SO HERE: "Trolls are challenged from birth to prove their strength, having to conquer many trials before acquiring a lusus, and ensure the race stays at its peak. They are jaded towards violence and for the most part unsentimental about individual lives."

HE TRAINS WITH HIS LANCE A LOT and there is a lot of fighting with said lance... sometimes... as long as that fighting is mostly happening on a dummy. He's isolated, so he gets off pretty lucky ultimately.

» Also there are a lot of really embarrassingly bad rap battles with a troll that looks as if he could be a juggalo. HE HAS INDIGO BLOOD. He's weird and really high like 24/7 and apparently has a lusus that's never there and believes in some weird thing called the Mirthful Messiahs but Tavros considers him a really good friend and likes him lots. Outside of Aradia, Gamzee is probably his other really good best friend in this memory!

Kanaya; JADE BLOOD. The only troll to prefer day and also she really enjoys fashion which is kind of weird. She fights with a chainsaw and she is the one that cut off his legs (SHARK IS THE ONLY ONE THAT SHOULD KNOW THIS DETAIL THOUGH WITH THE CHAINSAW AND LEGS THING)
Terezi; JUST1C3!!! ALSO A TEAL BLOOD. She is not blind in this memory since the revenge clusterfuck hasn't started here. She is on a team with Vriska called "Team Scourge."
Vriska; CERULEAN BLOOD. His bully. She has an eye with eight pupils and no robotic arm and a power that's considered weird for her blood caste because psychic powers are generally considered a lowblood thing. She is, personality wise, a lot like a lot of people on Celeste.
Equius; NAVY BLOOD. He sweats a lot and generally pulls the I AM SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU PLEASE LEARN YOUR PLACE AND ALSO DON'T SWEAR BECAUSE THAT MAKES ME UNCOMFORTABLE. Creepy. Often makes Tavros uncomfortable just from talking to him. This guy is hard to understand. 8|;;
Eridan; VIOLET BLOOD, Eridan will you please stop fucking hitting on me it makes me uncomfortable!! He is very KILL ALL LANDDWWELLERS and there is a lot of seadweller superiority and stuff. He plays against Vriska in FLARP a lot.
Feferi; Her lusus is a fucking horrorterror that she has to feed or else it will kill everyone and that would not be awesome. She is the heiress-to-be and she will likely be empress someday! She wants to change the definition of 'cull' to mean 'care' and generally change the entire system of Alternia and make it completely opposite from what it actually is. So. Y...es...
Karkat; HAS AN UNKNOWN BLOOD COLOR but he types in grey. He is very loud and angry and very creative in his insults.

There are so many self-esteem and self-confidence issues to be found here, with a lot related to where he falls on the blood caste system + how he's treated by Vriska, who he still considers a friend even if she beats him down a lot.
» Shit sucks, but he does manage to make himself happy by doing all of his nerdy hobbies! Aradia is a big help because she's vaguely creepy and hollow sounding but also pretty cheerful and his best friend.
