Wren really likes Nightingale, though he has no idea how to respond to her sometimes? He's really, incredibly awkward! But he does look up to her a little and he just wants her to be happy but he's realizing that that's not very easy for her. Plus, some of her issues are really starting to hit home as he remembers his own issues and it's kind of horrible. :( A lot of the time he doesn't really know what to say, so he settles for just kind of... sitting around and being around her, except when he feels like he's imposing... WHICH HE DOES A LOT. He doesn't do it when he's feeling incredibly overwhelmed by life, but when he's not overwhelmed he's kind of content to kind of melt back into the background and keep a passive eye on everything! He's kind of observant of Nightingale too and has a tendency to just ssssort of watch her every once in awhile to see if he can get some kind of idea on how to talk to her because he can't figure it out! They have been doing better lately though, which is great.

I can't essay as much on this one but she really likes him, but he's so weird and confusing and alien, but also just similar enough that she finds it awkward to talk to him because one of me is too many. He hits her similarity pings in a different way from Swan, so she's not HISS BOO at him, but it's enough that she's like BUT NO BE CONFIDENT DON'T TURN OUT LIKE ME????
She's more content to just observe him, too, just. out of lack of knowing what to do for anything else. shit's hard.

i tend to assume queen was a lot stricter with princess before the world ended. but after that it was like "fuck". and now she just tries to be as good a mother as she can but it's hard and occasionally she gets really sad that princess can never grow up or inherit the kingdom or anything
but god damn she wishes princess could still behave herself :( SHE LOVES HER DAUGHTER DEEPLY THOUGH and. if anyone ever tried to hurt her, queen would go full murderous.
